Stuck in a slump? Has your life been reduced to work-TV-sleep-repeat? You probably don’t know how you got there – how you went from active to couch-dweller searching 1000+ channels and eating takeout. I too have been stuck there but I set my sights on something new and haven’t looked back. There’s more to life than working to pay bills – there’s a better way, and if you’re interested, I invite you to come along for a ride. Right now, what do you have to lose?
Neale Donald Walsch said “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” and, regardless of faith, there is perhaps no mantra more relevant. It’s all too easy to be worn down and captivated by what ‘everyone one else’ is doing, but if you see life as an opportunity and adventure then there is a wide and exciting world waiting for you. Perhaps Hunter S. Thompson said it best with “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow! What a ride!’”.
I’m not a self help guru – far from it. Just a guy building the type of life I always wanted who’s interested in sharing what I’ve learnt so far and learning as I go. I’d love to hear what you think and share stories if you’re on your own journey to break out of societies idea of life – the 9 to 5, corporate ladder and big house in the suburbs.
For those just starting this journey; follow along, get off the couch and do more with your life. Plan your life for no regrets.
